Mortality, disability, and disease may stroke doubled since 2030, and even young people also suffered a stroke, partly due to unhealthy lifestyles.
According
to two new studies published in the medical journal The Lancet , the
number of strokes in people aged 20-64 has increased 25 % in the past 20
years and now accounts for 31 % of cases , compared with 25 % before 1990.
Number
of patients under 75 years of age accounted for 62 % of new cases of
stroke , 45 % of deaths and 72 % of cases of illness and disability .
The
researchers said that each year more than 83,000 people aged 20 or
younger had a stroke - accounting for about 0.5 % of the total.
They
warn that the shift in the burden of stroke to young people will
continue without urgent steps to direct people to improve unhealthy
lifestyle - mainly reducing salt , calories , alcohol and tobacco .
Research
shows that in 2010 , 61.5 % of disability cases and 51.7 % of deaths
due to brain hemorrhage - occurs when blood vessels rupture weak ,
mainly due to high blood pressure and lifestyle unhealthy .
"
The majority of patients under 75 years old and live in low -income
countries and middle , where the incidence of stroke due to bleeding was
increased by 19 % ," the study said .
Stroke due to cerebral bleeding half stroke ischemia ( infarction ) which is caused by occlusion of blood supply to the brain .
Study
warns of 2030 , disability , disease and death from stroke will double
worldwide , especially in low -income countries and middle .
"
This is partly due to the increase in risk factors such as unhealthy
diet , high blood pressure , obesity , physical inactivity and tobacco
in the country ."
