Malaysia spent $ 4.2 billion to strengthen border security

The Malaysian Armed Forces will receive $ 4.2 billion in the 2014 budget to strengthen border security.


Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said that the allocation for the priority of the government to deal with foreign threats , which could undermine national security .
In addition, the Malaysian government also spent 765 million dollars to buy an additional 6 offshore patrol vessels , four aircraft carriers , tanks and support equipment .
In the budget speech to Parliament on 25/10 , Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak has spent most appreciation for the sacrifice and service of soldiers and security forces to protect sovereignty countries .
Mr Najib Tun Razak said 15.3 million has been allocated for the welfare of veterans 20,000 to cover medical expenses , charitable and education to offset their contributions .
Malaysian Prime Minister also announced the amount of 64.4 million dollars to build and restore the barracks of the armed forces , as well as the purchase of buses for students who are children of military personnel to replace trucks military .
