Turkey to open new bid opening on missile contract

Turkey announced late last week left open the possibility of opening the tender form new purchasing system planned missile defense, if the controversial negotiations with China failed.



" It is not a final agreement . If the U.S. and Europe offer better suggestions , we will continue to negotiate with them ," Turkish media quoted Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on 26 / 10 .

Foreign Minister Davutoglu said Turkey was kind of Russian companies , but not of the other two companies . " If the proposal is given more appropriate , relevant authorities we will evaluate them ," he said .
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan last week defended the decision to negotiate with China on missile deal .
" No one has the right to interfere in the decisions of the independent Turkey ," Erdogan said .
