Spain on 28/10 has summoned U.S. Ambassador James Costos in the capital Madrid to demand accountability for alleged wiretapping warned that Madrid could erode trust between the two countries if there is proven truth.

James Costos was called up to explain the information previously said
that 60.5 million Americans were monitoring the phone calls of Spain in
just 1 month .
However,
no details have been revealed from the meeting between U.S. Ambassador
James Costos with representatives of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign
Affairs .
"
I've been involved ( with U.S. Ambassador ) prior to the meeting this
morning ... So far , we do not have any official information about Spain
being spies ," Spanish Foreign Minister Houses Jose Manuel Garcia - Margallo said at a joint news conference with Polish counterpart in Warsaw .
The
move took place shortly after the Spanish government urged the U.S. to
provide details of the wiretapping operation , said that the news about
the spy phone service across the U.S. intelligence aimed at national Southern Europe is " not acceptable " if it is true .
"
Like the previous case , we have asked the U.S. ambassador to provide
full information necessary for eavesdropping which , if proven true ,
would break the trust has been built this past between the two countries , " Foreign Minister Jose Manuel said .
According
to information previously published in the newspaper El Mundo in Spain ,
the U.S. National Security Agency ( NSA ) wiretapping recently over 60
million phone calls of the Spanish people in just 1 month . The
newspaper said the information quoted from a confidential source
material comes from former U.S. intelligence officer Edward Snowden ,
who are staying a year in Russia due to the U.S. government wanted for
treason .
The
information was revealed repeatedly in recent days about the
wiretapping program of U.S. intelligence secrets to the leaders of 35
countries and millions of people around the world are pushing the U.S.
into foreign crisis worst delivery ever and undermine trust between the U.S. allies . Before
Spain, many countries other U.S. allies from Europe to Asia were asked
Washington to explain the eavesdropping program and said the scope of
the activities program .
